Limiting Beliefs About Starting Your Own Business
80% of small businesses fail within the first 5 years. This is a pretty discouraging statistic and if you hear or read this before venturing into your own small business, there’s a pretty good change you’ll set yourself up to join that 80%. Have you ever heard the expression, “Never tell me the odds”? I happen to like it because it’s a good philosophy to follow. When we hear how hard it will be to accomplish something, a lot of us resign ourselves to failure. For instance, you might think “80% of small businesses fail. What makes me think mine will make it?”.
